Job summary

Dynisco-Viatran Instrument Sdn Bhd in Seri Manjong, Perak, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee all QA activities within the manufacturing team. The role supports maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and related certifications and works closely with the manager on day-to-day quality operations.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Engineering with 3–5 years of manufacturing quality experience, strong inspection skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day QA activities and ensure product quality.
• Assist manager to maintain ISO 9001/ATEX/CSA/FM certifications.
• Oversee quality assurance for incoming materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Monitor subordinates to prevent daily shipment delays.
• Identify solutions to quality problems and daily issues.
• Report product rejections and quality issues.
• Communicate with customers on rejections and corrective actions.
• Investigate non-conformances (internal, supplier, customer).
• Drive internal and external quality improvements to meet company goals.
• Minimize product rework or rejections where possible.
• Maintain testing equipment calibration and verification.
• Plan training for subordinates to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Prepare monthly quality reports for review and verification.
• Review and improve QC systems and procedures.
• Audit suppliers for incoming materials against quality standards.

1. Working closely with manager to handle day to day activities concerning all aspects of the QMS and its continual improvement.

2. Assist manager to continue maintaining the Certification (ISO 9001/ATEX/CSA /FM).

3. Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance activities of incoming material, in-process and finished products.

4. Monitoring subordinates daily job so that no delay on the daily shipment.

5. Strive to find a solution to solve product quality problem or daily problems.

6. Able to report on product rejections and product quality.

7. Able to communicate with customers on the product rejections and corrective actions.

8. Monitor and investigating non-conformance e.g. internal, supplier and customer

9. Driving quality improvement internal and external to achieve company goals.

10. Ensure to minimize product rework or rejection and maintain zero rejection where possible.

11. Maintaining of testing equipment calibration and verification.

12. Plan the training program for the subordinates to enhance their knowledge and skills.

13. Responsible for monthly quality reporting to review & verify all relevant quality check sheets.

14. To review, maintain and improve the quality control system and procedure, to ensure product quality.

15. Wherever appropriate, and in accordance with established program, carry-out audit of suppliers of incoming materials to ensure their compliance to quality standards.

Person Specifications

Qualifications : Minimum Diploma in Engineering

Experience : Minimum 3 - 5 years in manufacturing quality activities

Personal qualities : Good interpersonal skill and independent.

Specific skills / abilities :

• Good communication with various level and good in inspection skills.
• Ability to use various measuring equipment, such as Micrometer, caliper, dial gauge and other equipments.
• Able to read engineering drawing.
• Familiar with MS Office software including word and excel.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015
• Able to work effectively and efficiently with minimum supervision.
