Job summary

AZ Frozen Food Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive QC Executive to support production and quality assurance operations.

The role focuses on maintaining production safety and quality standards, and ensuring compliance with GMP/HACCP and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include handling GMP/HACCP documentation, FoSIM management, coordinating import/export docs, performing QC inspections of raw materials, packaging and finished products, and supporting internal/external audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in food-related field, with 3+ years in production/QA.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing systems.
• Experience with FoSIM and import/export documentation is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel, good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain GMP and HACCP documentation and compliance.
• Manage FoSIM (Food Safety Information System of Malaysia).
• Coordinate import/export documentation for quality and regulatory needs.
• Conduct QC inspections, sampling and testing of materials and products.
• Record and monitor quality results, keeping records up to date.
• Review QC records, SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist audits and drive continuous quality improvements.

AZ Frozen Food Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QC Executive to support production and quality assurance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining production safety and quality standards, handling GMP/HACCP documentation, coordinating quality control activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP documentation and compliance requirements.
• Manage matters related to FoSIM (Food Safety Information System of Malaysia).
• Coordinate import and export documentation related to quality and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections, sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
• Monitor and record quality test results and ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain and organize QC-related documentation and records.
• Review quality records, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and food safety regulations.
• Assist in internal / external audits, corrective actions and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, Production, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in production industry.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing quality systems.
• Experience in FoSIM management and import/export documentation is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Responsible, ethical and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
