Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control/Assurance assistant in Malaysia to help implement and improve QC procedures, maintain documentation, and support certification programs. You will review inspection records for raw materials, packaging, and finished products, and manage QC data in the quality management system.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Food Service, Food Technology, or Food Science, plus at least 1 year of Halal-related experience and Halal Executive certification.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Service, Food Technology, Food Science.
• At least 1 year working experience on Halal matters.
• Possess Halal Executive certificate issued by HPB/JAKIM.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving quality control procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Prepare, review, and update inspection records for raw materials, packaging material, and finished products.
• Perform daily QC administrative activities, including issuing QC Pass stickers for approved materials and products.
• Verify and update QA/QC records, forms, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Update QC inspection data for materials and finished products in the quality management system.
• Support Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal Assurance System and other certification requirements.
• Ensure quality records are complete and available for audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Verify, maintain, and update QA/QC records, forms, and quality documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Update and maintain QC inspection data for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products in the quality management system.

Support Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal Assurance System and other certification requirements.

Ensure all quality records are completed accurately, maintained systematically, and readily available for audits.

Perform any other duties assigned by the superior in line with operational requirements.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Service, Food Technology, Food Science.

At least 1 year and above working experience on Halal matters.

Possess Halal Executive certificateissued by recognized Halal Training Provider by HPB (Halal Professional Board) by JAKIM.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision
