Job summary

AIC Semiconductor Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee the Quality Management System, align with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and support continuous improvement across the plant. You will manage document control, internal audits, corrective actions, and interactions with customers to ensure quality standards are met while promoting a culture of excellence.

Key activities include auditing schedules, CAPA tracking, training, and coordinating quality programs to safeguard product

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
• Ability to coordinate internal audits and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality Management System implementation across the company.
• Maintain Quality Manuals and Procedures; ensure contents are current.
• Coordinate internal audit programs and schedule; support management rep.
• Lead customer visits and audits; report major non-conformances.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions for audit findings.
• Provide engineering support and review to upgrade the system.
• Handle document control and training related to ISO/IATF requirements.

Job description

Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations

Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business

Responsible for internal audit programs, coordinate the implementation of internal audit per established schedule and assist the management representative to implement /maintain ISO 9001 quality management & IATF 16949 requirements

Setup an internal audit matrix and schedule for performing regular internal system audits

Manage & Lead customer visits and audits

Highlight and escape any major non-conformances or system deficiencies to management for appropriate action

Follow up on corrective and preventive actions taken for all audit findings

Provide engineering support and review, upgrade or enhance the system

Handle ISO/IATF system training and implementation

Responsible for reviewing, implementation and maintaining the document control function

Initiate and promote any company wide quality task/ projects from time to time

Manage the document control center and setup document control guidelines

Ensure all controlled documents are properly prepared, generated, updated, approved, issued and distributed or filed

Interface with external sources or customers to ensure latest updates are available for reference or implementation

Update and enhance the document control system from time to time

Manage the archive center and setup proper indexing, retrieval and retention procedures for the archive system

Responsible for reviewing, implementation and maintaining the document control function

Coordinate plant-wide quality programs such as quality awareness campaigns and/or activities as may be determined from time to time

Responsible for any specific duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification:

Degree in Engineering or others related field
