Job summary

AIC Semiconductor Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Planning professional to coordinate demand requests, production loading, and shipping plans with internal and external customers. You will develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with forecast demand, capacity, and inventory targets.

Job description

• Coordinate, plan and execute the demand request, production loading, shipping plan and PO Closure by liaising with internal and external customers and maximize production efficiency and capacity.
• Production Planning: be ensuring loading creation, and material readiness for production run.
• Product/Wafer WIP and Inventory Control: Monitor and manage wafers, WIP and materials availability to meet demand target.
• Customers' demand related issues: liaise with external customer as demand contact window for managing loading and shipping plan as per customers’ requirement by ensuring sufficient direct and indirect material.
• Develop, manage and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans and schedule aligned with demand forecasts, available capacity, and inventory targets.
• Ensure balanced line loading considering machine capability, manpower, and resource availability. Identify constraints or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to improve throughput.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, Warehouse) to maintain smooth production flow.
• Track daily output, cycle time, and product yield; ensure accurate data capture in planning systems.
• Drive enhancements in scheduling accuracy, planning efficiency, and master data reliability.
• Act as Key User for Sale order, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and user training.
• Review aging and odd-hand inventory, ensure timely rectification, and recommend disposition for unusable stocks.
• Scheduling Priorities: Decide which production orders to prioritize based on demand, capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Inventory Release: Approve production order releases based on material availability and lead times.
• System Data Integrity: Validate and approve changes to master data (e.g., lead times, BOM updates) impacting planning accuracy.
• Degree/Diploma in business administrative or (Any discipline)

• Preferable experience to deal with MNC customers.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor industry will be added advantage.
