Job summary

AIC Semiconductor Sdn Bhd in Kedah is seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer to ensure stable utilities for manufacturing, design piping to equipment specs, and support continual production efficiency.

The role requires coordinating shift coverage, supervising facilities technicians, and overseeing operation, maintenance, and repair of all facilities equipment. Strong teamwork and independent work capability are essential for success in this environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities/engineering.
• Alternative: Advanced/Intermediate Certificate with 5 years' experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure utilities supplies to manufacturing are stable and uninterrupted.
• Carry out design on new installed equipment to required pressure, temperature, and flow rate.
• Coordinate and monitor new project setup on main and sub-contractor.
• Coordinate all Facilities Technicians and shift coverage.
• Perform maintenance on all facilities equipment.
• Carry out cross-functional work when required.
• Complete any other tasks assigned day to day.

Job description

Responsible for maintaining utilities supplies to manufacturing requirements, ensuring all utilities fittings meet local authority requirements, and designing piping systems to meet equipment specifications. The role involves coordinating manpower on shift coverage and overseeing operation, maintenance, and repair of all facilities equipment.

Key responsibilities

Ensure utilities supplies to manufacturing are stable and uninterrupted, meeting quality specifications and controlling consumption usage to reduce wastage

Carry out design on new installed equipment to the required pressure, temperature, and flow rate

Coordinate and monitor new project setup on main and sub-contractor

Coordinate all Facilities Technicians and shift coverage

Perform maintenance on all facilities equipment

Carry out cross-functional work when required

Complete any other tasks assigned day to day

Possess a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any related field

Minimum 3 years' experience in the related field, or Advance or Intermediate Certificate in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years' experience

Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
