Job summary

Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead QA activities, work with the QA operations group, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with Assembly, Encapsulation, Plating, Test and Engineering to address deviations, maintain documented quality systems, handle 8D-based customer and internal complaints, and drive the achievement of QA targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years related work experience in semiconductor QA.

Responsibilities

• Work with QA operation group to ensure smooth QA activities.
• Establish, implement and maintain documented quality system and procedures per IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Liaise with Assembly, Encapsulation, Plating, Test, Engineering for corrective action on deviations detected by IPQA and OQA inspectors.
• Coordinate with process engineers for support (release of maverick lots, samples for risk assessment) for smooth production.
• Control non-conformities until product deficiencies are corrected.
• Handle internal and customer complaints using 8D methodology (ICAR & ECAR) and follow up on actions.
• Achieve company quality objectives and QA top targets.

Job description

Responsible for Quality Assurance function and activities in Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn. Bhd

Responsibilities

To work with QA operation group to ensure smooth running of Quality Assurance activities

Establish, implement and maintain documented quality system, procedure and instruction in accordance to IATF 16949, equivalent International Quality System and Customer requirements.

To liaise with Assembly, Encapsulation, Plating, Test, Engineering and other departments for corrective action on any deviation detected by IPQA and OQA Inspectors to prevent recurrence of non-conformity.

To liaise with process engineers for appropriate working support (release of maverick lots, arrange samples for risk assessment) for a smooth production

Control further processing and non-conformities until the product deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

To handle internal and customer complaints by using 8D methodology (ICAR & ECAR) and follow up on action implementation.

To achieve company quality objectives and Top targets (QA).

To carry out any job related task or assignment assigned by superior

Educational background :Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree.
