We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality excellence across global accounts, driving process improvements, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
Lead the development and maintenance of QA plans for global new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and customer-specific Process Optimisation frameworks.
Provide technical expertise to support quoting activities, including participation in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
Identify opportunities to standardise and optimise manufacturing processes across global customer accounts, with a strong focus on proactive methodologies.
Evaluate and enhance inspection processes through the development of inspection aids and clear instruction guidelines.
Establish and maintain effective systems for document storage, access, and periodic review to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review and manage supplier, internal, and customer discrepancies; coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
Participate in vendor survey activities and actively support suppliers in their process improvement efforts.
Serve as a technical point of contact for customers on quality-related matters, including handling customer calls and resolving quality issues in a timely manner.
Design and deliver specialised training programmes tailored to global customer account requirements across all applicable functions.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment with company Policies and Procedures.
Adhere to all workplace health and safety rules and regulations relevant to this role.
Comply with all procedures outlined in the company's security policy.
A Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a quality assurance or related role.
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and PCB assembly processes.
A results-driven mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with customers.
