Job summary

Qnnect is seeking a proactive QA Engineer in Malaysia to lead quality projects, analyze data, and interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You will drive root-cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness while supporting audits and new part transfer projects.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Science and 3–5 years of related experience. Knowledge of SPC, MSA, PPAP, ISO9001, and cable/connector industries is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
• Analytical in problem solving.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawing and quality core tools such as SPC, MSA, PPAP.
• ISO 9001 experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in the cable and connector industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects related to product and process quality to ensure quality products and total customer satisfaction.
• Analyze data to understand a problem and develop solutions for quality improvement projects.
• Be the key personnel to interface with customers / suppliers / internal team related to quality issues and failure incidences.
• Drive issues for root cause(s), corrective action, and monitoring for effectiveness.
• Lead the internal team and prepare customer / Internal 8D report whenever there is quality issues.
• Involve in and support all the relevant quality of new part approval project and transfer projects.
• Support and assist in customer and third-party audit.
• To perform internal audit and supplier audit when necessary.
• To establish and maintain quality documents such as SOP, WI, SIP, Control Plan and etc.
• Conduct training of quality related topics/ISO standard to QA Inspectors and internal team.
• Oversee quality inspection and testing of incoming, in process and outgoing product to confirm products quality meet the specification.
• To manage non-conformance incoming parts and goods tin accordance with quality management system.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary and assigned by superior.
