Job summary

Megalift Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QA Engineer to support quality assurance and control activities for our data centre project. You will ensure works, materials, documentation, and site activities meet approved specifications, drawings, and quality procedures.

You will coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to identify issues and implement corrective actions to ensure deliverables meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in construction, M&E, or data centre projects.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITP, inspection processes, NCR, corrective actions, and project documentation.
• Familiar with reading engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality requirements.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on activities, materials, equipment, and workmanship.
• Prepare and coordinate ITPs, IRs, checklists, and quality records.
• Verify that materials and equipment at site comply with approved specifications and documentation.
• Review Material Test Certificates, Certificates of Conformance, inspection reports, and other quality documents.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs until closure.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality files.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve quality issues.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple quality-related activities in a project environment.
• Willing to be site-based and work according to project requirements.
