Job summary

Laser Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to establish critical control points, monitor quality across production, and work closely with the QA Manager to resolve customer complaints. You will initiate internal improvement activities based on customer feedback, perform MSA to assess QC inspectors, and coordinate supplier quality assessments and corrective actions.

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar QA role.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor critical control points to ensure quality against objectives.
• Assist QA Manager to resolve customer complaints.
• Initiate internal quality improvement activities based on customer feedback.
• Perform MSA to monitor QC inspectors' competence.
• Prepare improvement plans for customers upon request.
• Assist QA Manager to identify quality improvement activities and introduce changes.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvements.
• Conduct supplier yearly quality audits.
• Follow up CAR implementation and verify results.

Job description

To establish and prepare the necessary critical control points for all products in production to ensure consistent quality achievement in line with the Departmental Quality Objectives.

To assist QA Manager to resolve complaints or quality issues raise by customers

To initiate internal quality improvement activities base on feedback from customers and improvement activities for sub out processes.

To preform MSA to monitor the competence of QC inspectors.

To prepare Improvement Plan to customer upon requested

To assist the QA Manager to identify the quality improvement activities and introduce the necessary changes.

To monitor supplier's quality performance and anaylsis for the improvement.

To conduct supplier yearly assessment / audit

To monitor Internal Rejection through Fabrication Reject Slip (FRS) and drive for the Root Cause and Corrective Action improvement.

Liaise with customer to gather more detail information or requirement from customer based on complaint raised, study the root cause and propose relevant corrective actions to QA Manger.

Follow up on the implementation of the CAR and monitor the subsequent result.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3 years and above in similar field

Having Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

Strong interpersonal skill

Proved experience in ISO Quality Management Systems
