Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY (JOHOR) SDN. BHD. seeks a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality initiatives across new projects, ensuring products meet customer and quality requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, perform CAPA and root-cause analysis, and maintain ISO 9001/14001 compliant quality systems, reports, and documentation. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the precision machining industry.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience in quality problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to support new project activities and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Engineering support to ensure parts produced meet customer and internal quality requirements.
• Support production audits and liaise with customers to resolve quality-related issues and feedback.
• Work closely with internal departments and external parties to identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor and review monthly quality performance and prepare monthly quality performance reports.
• Participate actively in new project start-up meetings and support the establishment of quality criteria and requirements for new parts where customer specifications are not provided.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams on containment, root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure issues are effectively and permanently resolved.
• Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
• Ensure quality activities and documentation comply with applicable customer requirements and ISO standards.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
