Job summary

Linkwing is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Johor, Malaysia, to lead strategic sourcing for electronic components and structural parts. You will coordinate supplier relationships, manage cost analyses, and drive process improvements across production, warehouse, and finance.

The role requires a college degree and 10+ years in electronics purchasing, with strong English and Chinese language skills and proficiency in ERP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree and 10+ years of purchasing experience in electronics.
• Familiar with structural components and electronic parts; electronics engineering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and project management experience preferred.
• Proficient in common office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Fluent or strong command of Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact suppliers for structural components and parts; coordinate docs, quotes, and samples for small batch production.
• Develop procurement plans based on project requirements and track progress to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze market conditions and cost trends; build a strategic supplier database and promote long-term cooperation.
• Lead cross-department collaboration (production/warehouse/finance) to optimize supply chain and cut costs.
• Monitor procurement risks, produce compliance reports, and propose improvements.
• Perform cost analysis, negotiations, and risk assessments; proficient with ERP and related systems.
• Follow up on contract payments to ensure timely settlement.

• Develop project procurement plans based on project requirements and track procurement progress to ensure timely completion of procurement tasks;
• Analyze market conditions and cost trends, establish a strategic supplier database, and promote the implementation of long-term cooperation mechanisms;
• Lead cross-departmental collaboration (production/warehouse/finance), optimize supply chain efficiency, and reduce procurement costs;
• Monitor procurement risks (such as quality issues and delivery delays), regularly produce compliance reports, and propose improvement measures;
• Cost analysis, negotiation, and risk assessment capabilities; proficient in operating ERP and other systems;
• Follow up on procurement contract payments to ensure timely payment for goods.
