Job summary

LINCSTECH CIRCUIT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee all purchasing activities in a manufacturing environment.

You will manage supplier relations, develop procurement strategies, control costs, maintain material availability, and lead the purchasing team to meet production needs. The role requires Mandarin language proficiency, strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or electronics/PCB purchasing.
• Mandarin speaking is required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier management, purchasing strategy, cost control, material availability and leading the purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities.

Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production.

Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstock.

Review and approve Purchase Orders (PO).

Work closely with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering and Finance.

Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery and pricing.

Lead the Purchasing team and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Prepare purchasing reports and maintain proper documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business or related field.

Relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or electronics/PCB.

Mandarin speaking is required.

Good negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
