Job summary

AST Machinery (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our team in Kota Kemuning, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on sourcing materials, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or SPM and experience in procurement, with fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Familiarity with AutoCount and MS Office is advantageous, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or Diploma in related field.
• Experience in purchasing/procurement; fresh graduates welcome.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• MS Excel/MS Office proficiency preferred.
• AutoCount System knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules and product availability.
• Monitor stock levels for spare parts and accessories.
• Maintain supplier records and vendor management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Ensure items meet required quality standards and company specifications.
