Job summary

Dilooma is seeking a proactive Purchaser to support fast-growing retail operations in Subang Jaya. You will manage sourcing, supplier negotiation, product management and inventory coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

Responsibilities include handling purchase orders, terms, and delivery schedules, coordinating with warehousing, maintaining supplier databases, and preparing procurement reports for management. Strong Excel skills and Chinese-language ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in retail purchasing/procurement
• End-to-end purchasing experience
• Able to liaise with China-based suppliers in Chinese

Responsibilities

• Liaise with existing suppliers on products, pricing, payment terms, purchase orders and delivery arrangements
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with potential local and overseas suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality and favourable commercial terms
• Prepare, issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring agreed pricing, quantities and delivery timelines are met
• Follow up closely on backorders, delivery schedules and estimated arrival dates
• Resolve under-delivery, over-delivery, damaged or broken items with suppliers
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate re-ordering to maintain healthy inventory levels
• Work closely with Warehouse to verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate supplier databases, purchasing records, pricing information and procurement documentation
• Ensure purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders and Goods Received Notes are properly documented and submitted to Finance for payment processing
• Prepare purchasing, stock and supplier-related reports for Management
