Job summary

Dilooma Malaysia is expanding and seeks aPurchasing/Procurement professional to support end-to-end sourcing in a fast-growing retail business. You will liaise with suppliers, manage pricing terms, and ensure timely delivery across local and overseas partners.

The role requires hands-on purchasing experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work with data and Excel to maintain accurate records and reports for management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail purchasing/procurement.
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
• Able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with China-based suppliers and vendors.
• Comfortable working with data, pricing, stock information, spreadsheets and documentation.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with existing suppliers on products, pricing, payment terms, purchase orders and delivery arrangements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with potential local and overseas suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality and favourable commercial terms.
• Prepare, issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring agreed pricing, quantities and delivery timelines are met.
• Follow up closely on backorders, delivery schedules and estimated arrival dates.
• Resolve under-delivery, over-delivery, damaged or broken items with suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate re-ordering to maintain healthy inventory levels.
• Work closely with Warehouse to verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate supplier databases, purchasing records, pricing information and procurement documentation.
• Ensure purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders and Goods Received Notes are properly documented and submitted to Finance for payment processing.
• Prepare purchasing, stock and supplier-related reports for Management.
