Job summary

Welford Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites a detail‑oriented Purchasing Assistant to support daily sourcing to delivery activities. You will maintain records of purchases, delivery details and invoices, and coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, and Operations to align purchasing with needs.

The role requires a minimum education of SPM/diploma, 1–2 years in purchasing or related fields, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/diploma/bachelor degree in business administration/economics or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or administration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing department in daily activities from sourcing to delivery
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, and Operation to align purchasing with operational needs
• Ensure all documents in the department are up-to-date and maintain proper filing system
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by Management

Job description

To assist Purchasing department in daily activities from sourcing to delivery

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices

Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, Warehouse, and Operation to align purchasing with operational needs

Ensure all documents in the department are up-to-date and maintain proper filing system

Perform any other related duties as assigned by Management from time to time

Requirements :-

Candidate must possess at least a SPM, diploma, bachelor degree in business administration/economic or equivalent

1 - 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or administration is an advantage

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external parties

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with purchasing systems

Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Pleasant personality with good work ethics

Candidate must possess own transport and willing to work in Eco World Grandeur, Puncak Alam, Selangor

Able to start work immediately will be added advantage
