Job summary

Maestro Swiss Industries Sdn. Bhd., a FMCG manufacturer and marketer in the Asia Pacific region, is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities, from RFQ to PO, ensuring policy compliance and timely deliveries.

Fresh graduates or applicants with 1+ year in purchasing, especially with commodities trading, are encouraged to apply. Strong MS Office skills and good communication are essential; on-site role in Penang area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business or related field.
• Fresh graduate or 1+ year experience in purchasing or related field.
• Experience in commodities; trading background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Launch RFQ, source, procure, quotation analysis & negotiation to lowest price and MOQ with supplier on direct and indirect items (MRO).
• Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures; follow purchasing guidelines.
• Convert weekly auto-generated PR to PO and provide visibility on material availability to planning.
