ENEST GROUP BERHAD is seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Executive based in Kajang, Selangor. You will source local and overseas suppliers, negotiate terms, prepare quotations, and manage timely deliveries to support production.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and reporting to the Production Manager. The role requires strong communication skills, independence, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• 3 years of active work experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in international purchasing or dealing with overseas suppliers is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with strong leadership, high responsibility and motivation.

Responsabilidades

• Source, research, identify potential local & overseas suppliers/contractors.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare cost comparison analysis & get quotations between potential suppliers.
• Coordinate with transporter to ensure smooth delivery of products, machineries, equipment.
• Address issues and discrepancies related to orders.
• Issue monthly or weekly purchase orders for consumables.
• Update and provide reports on procurement issues and status to the Production Manager.
• Plan purchases strictly according to timeline & approved budget.
• Track stock and manage storage of goods.
• Assist in inventory counts and reconcile stock reports.
• Perform maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to support production.
• Arrange repair works for shut downs or spoiled machinery and update progress.
• Suggest improvements to procedures to reduce costs.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Source, research, identify potential local & oversea suppliers/ contractors.


• Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.


• Prepare cost comparison analysis & get quotations between potential suppliers.


• Coordinate with transporter to ensure smooth delivery of products, machineries, equipments.


• Address any issues and discrepancies related to orders.


• Issue monthly or weekly purchase order for certain consumable items.


• Update and provide reports on procurement issues and status to the Production Manager.


• To plan the purchases strictly according to timeline & approved budget.


• Keeps track of a company's stock, recording incoming and outgoing stock/ packing materials and managing the organisation and storage of goods.


• Assisting in physical counts of inventory and reconciling actual stock count to computer-generated reports.


• Performing maintenance checking on equipment and machinery to support production and achieve desired results.


• To arrange repair works for any shut down or spoiled machinery/equipment. To update production manager or relevant supervisor on the repair progress.


• Recommending improvements to current procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.


• To assist in other departments to support the operational needs.


• To assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements

• Preferably 3 years of active work experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.


• Experience in international purchasing or dealing with overseas suppliers is an advantage.


• Must be able to work independently, have good leadership, high responsibility, be highly motivated, able to handle pressure, work smart, be disciplined, a fast learner, honest, hardworking, and energetic.


• Computer literate. Able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.


• Able to multitask and work long hours if needed.


• Good interpersonal & communication skills.


• Willing to be based at Kajang, Selangor.


• Proficient in Chinese, English & Bahasa Melayu (spoken & written).


• Good Management skills and acquire problems solving and decision making skills.
