Job summary

BOH Plantations Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Malaysia to handle purchase orders, supplier research, quote requests, and stock monitoring. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely deliveries, and cost negotiation within a fast-paced team.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Business Administration or Procurement & Purchasing, with 1–3 years of related experience and strong communication skills. ERP experience with Sage/SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Procurement & Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
• 1–3 years of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like Sage & SAP.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Research suppliers, request price quotes, and negotiate costs.
• Monitor stock levels, update internal databases, and prevent shortages or overstock.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts to resolve billing discrepancies.
