Job summary

Aver Asia Rental Sdn Bhd is hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team in Penang. Based at Bukit Minyak, you will help ensure timely sourcing of materials, coordinate spare parts movement, and maintain accurate records to support efficient operations across our logistics and rental services.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, or are fresh graduates with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all spare parts movement (in and out)
• Communicate effectively with technicians and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Update and maintain accurate records, ensuring physical stock matches with system inventory
• Respond promptly to requirements from other branches and suppliers
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate store documentation
• Assist in coordinating store matters & handling purchasing matters
• Able to use simple Microsoft Office programs

About the role

Aver Asia Rental Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Purchasing Assistant to join our procurement team. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Minyak, Penang, where you will play a vital role in supporting our purchasing operations and contributing to the efficient management of our supply chain. The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with the procurement department to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards. This role is essential in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting the broader logistics and rental business objectives.

Job Description :

Coordinate and manage all spare parts movement (in and out)

Communicate effectively with technicians and suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Update and maintain accurate records, ensuring physical stock matches with system inventory

Respond promptly to requirements from other Branches and suplier

Perform data entry and maintain accurate store documentation

Assist in coordinating store matter & handling purchasing matter

Able use simple Microsoft Office program

Job Requirement :

Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
