Job summary

Organic Home Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced procurement professional to join our supply chain team. You will identify and source suppliers, negotiate contracts, process purchase orders and monitor inventory to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate communicates in Mandarin and English, builds strong supplier relationships, uses procurement software and MS Office, and understands local and international sourcing markets. A relevant procurement or supply chain qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within manufacturing, transport or logistics sectors.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve supply chain challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
• Relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of local and international sourcing markets would be advantageous.
• Experience with vendor evaluation and performance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, evaluating and sourcing suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality goods and services
• Negotiating contracts and terms with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings and payment conditions
• Preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to prevent stockouts whilst minimising excess stock
• Liaising with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and timelines
• Tracking deliveries and managing supplier performance against agreed key performance indicators
• Resolving supply chain issues and managing vendor relationships to maintain operational continuity
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all purchasing transactions and agreements
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry regulations and quality standards throughout the procurement process
