We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good negotiation skills, strong cost awareness and the ability to source quality products at competitive prices.

Key responsibilities

Compare quotations and negotiate the best prices and payment terms

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely purchasing to avoid stock shortages

Source new suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities

Control purchasing costs and maintain good supplier relationships

Continuously improve purchasing efficiency

About you

Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience preferred

Experience in hardware, building materials or trading industries is an advantage

Good negotiation and supplier management skills

Responsible, honest, well-organised and able to work independently

Good communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel

Familiar with purchasing or inventory management systems is an advantage
