SBL HEALTHCARE SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a responsible Purchaser Cum Operation Executive to strengthen purchasing, inventory and day-to-day operational processes. If you’re good with numbers, strong in follow-up and enjoy ensuring stock and operations run smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.

The role focuses on planning purchasing, issuing POs, monitoring delivery, and coordinating with Sales, Admin, Warehouse and Finance to keep stock levels optimal and orders on schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in related field required or preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain or operations.
• Experience in FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutrition or distribution is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan purchasing based on sales forecasts, stock levels and inventory requirements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely supplier delivery.
• Monitor order status, delivery schedules, shortages and delays.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory and operational requirements with multiple departments.

We’re looking for a responsible and analytical Purchaser Cum Operation Executiveto strengthen our purchasing, inventory and day-to-day operational processes.

Your Mission

Ensure the right stock is available at the right time by managing purchasing, inventory and operational coordination while continuously improving efficiency and reducing supply risks.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Plan purchasing based on sales forecasts, stock levels and inventory requirements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely supplier delivery.
• Follow up closely on order status, delivery schedules, shortages and delays.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times and order fulfilment.

Inventory Planning & Control

• Monitor inventory levels to minimise out-of-stock (OOS) and overstock situations.
• Monitor inventory days, stock turnover, slow-moving and short-expiry stock.
• Coordinate necessary actions with relevant departments.
• Ensure inventory records and physical stock are accurate and investigate discrepancies when required.

Operations & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate incoming goods, warehouse activities, delivery arrangements and logistics matters.
• Work closely with Sales, Admin, Warehouse, Finance and Management on operational requirements.
• Monitor warehouse and admin operational tasks and follow up on agreed timelines and KPIs.

Process & Operational Improvement

• Review operational workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure SOPs, operational documentation and records are properly maintained and followed.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory and operational reports for Management.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Operations Management or related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experiencein purchasing, inventory, supply chain or operations.
• Experience in FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceutical, nutrition or distributionis an advantage.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and comfortable working with inventory / ERP systems.
• Strong planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to analyse stock requirements and comfortable working with numbers.
• Responsible, organised and able to work across different departments.
• Good communication and supplier negotiation skills.
• Proactive in identifying problems and following through until they are resolved.
