Job summary

SBL Healthcare SDN BHD, a growing Malaysian healthcare and nutrition company, is seeking an Account Executive to support the finance team. You will help maintain accurate records, manage cash flow, and contribute to timely financial reporting.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and 2–3 years of accounting experience. Experience with SQL or AutoCount is a plus. Excel proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with SQL, AutoCount or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Process supplier invoices and coordinate timely payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations and Procurement to ensure smooth financial processes.

Your Mission

Support SBL’s growth by ensuring accurate financial records, healthy cash flow and efficient finance operations that enable sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain healthy debtor ageing.

Accounts Payable & Financial Operations

• Process supplier invoices and coordinate timely payments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.

Finance Operations

• Work closely with Sales, Operations and Procurement to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance efficiency and internal controls.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting SBL’s financial health by:

• Maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Supporting healthy cash flow through effective collections and payment coordination.
• Assisting in monthly financial reporting.
• Improving finance processes and operational efficiency.
• Contributing to a strong and disciplined finance function.
