Responsibilities

• Maintain product costing, pricing, and profit margins.

• Update promotions, pricing adjustments, and campaign information.
• Manage rebates and voucher claims; ensure timely income.
• Check outgoing promotions in all materials for accuracy.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely goods receipt.
• Handle enquiries on product availability, pricing, stock transfers, procurement.
• Monitor stock levels and plan monthly replenishments.
• Prepare inventory, sales, and performance reports with data analysis.
• Collaborate to improve operational efficiency, inventory control, admin effectiveness.
• Manage operations under the supply chain department.
• Support ad hoc projects and continuous improvement.
• Read/write Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT / EXECUTIVE (OPERATION)

About the role We are seeking a Supply Chain Assistant/Executive (Operation) to join R Pharmacy (Pastel Care Sdn Bhd) in our Kepong Kuala Lumpur office. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of pharmaceutical products and materials throughout our supply chain network. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimising inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain processes. This role is essential to our mission of delivering quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring product availability to our customers.

Job Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate product costing, selling prices, and profit margins to support business profitability objectives.

Maintain and update product master data, including item codes, descriptions, pricing, supplier information, and inventory settings.

Manage and update promotional setups, pricing adjustments, and campaign information in the system to ensure accuracy and timely execution.

Manage the rebate and voucher claims and ensure the income is being claimed on a timely manner

To run sufficient check to ensure all the outgoing promotion in all materials are accurate

Coordinate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and verify that products are delivered in good condition.

Handle enquiries from branches regarding product availability, pricing, stock transfers, and procurement-related matters.

Monitor stock levels and plan monthly replenishment quantities to ensure adequate supply while minimising excess inventory.

Assist in the preparation of inventory, sales, and performance reports, including data analysis and recommendations.

Collaborate with internal departments to improve operational efficiency, inventory control, and administrative effectiveness.

Manage the operation aspect under supply chain department

Support ad hoc assignments, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by Management.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in operations or administrative functions.

Prior experience in retail pharmacy, healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, FMCG, or retail industries will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of inventory management, stock replenishment planning, and supply chain operations.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Strong administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Google Workspace and ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Self-motivated, resourceful, detail-orientated, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Candidates who are able to commence work immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.

Able to read, write, and communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners.
