Job summary

CTC Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to negotiate with suppliers, manage P.O.s via ERP, and ensure on-time delivery of goods for IT services and solutions.

You will analyse supplier performance, maintain records, coordinate with the finance team, and support continuous improvement while working under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or graduate in business administration or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers/principals for the best pricing and rebates.
• Ensure goods are received accurately within the stipulated time frame.
• Prepare purchase orders according to order requests and Internal Request Forms via the ERP System.
• Sourcing of goods from selected suppliers for immediate stock at an appropriate price.
• Process networking products permit and licensing application through SIRIM.
• Maintain accurate record of P.O. and monitor outstanding orders from suppliers and do necessary follow-ups.
• Manage freight forwarders and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure prompt clearance of goods.
• Negotiate with vendors and freight forwarders to facilitate the best price with appropriate delivery lead-time.
• Maintain/initiate a good track record of cost saved through proper costing procedure.
• Maintain good communication with internal teams on the delivery status of goods to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Work with Finance to maintain a record of all approved suppliers.
• Maintain good teamwork, quality output and continuous improvement.
