Job summary

• Familiarity with office tools and procurement systems; numeric data handling.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field preferred; relevant work/internship experience is an advantage.

Role Description

The Associate Purchasing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Pelabuhan Klang. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, monitoring order status, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The Associate Purchasing Specialist will assist in maintaining accurate purchasing records, comparing quotations, and helping to optimize costs while meeting quality and delivery requirements. The role involves working closely with internal teams to understand material and service needs, resolving basic discrepancies or delays, and following established purchasing processes and policies. The individual will also support data entry, reporting, and basic analysis of purchasing data to help improve procurement efficiency.
