Job summary

LAC Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking an Inventory Analyst to conduct regular physical counts at hospital sites, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain precise inventory records. You will monitor stock levels, movements, consumption, and expiry dates while coordinating with customers on stock rotation and urgent deliveries.

The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with AI tools for data-driven reporting, with travel to hospital sites within the territory and occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Good computer literacy with MS Excel and other digital/AI tools.
• Experience or internship in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, procurement, operations, or related fields is a plus.

Job description

Conduct regular physical inventory counts at hospital sites and perform reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for assigned hospitals, including stock balances, stock movements, consumption, and replenishment requirements.

Provide inventory ordering data, monitor product expiry dates, coordinate with customers on expiry acceptance and stock rotation where required.

Coordinate urgent stock deliveries, stock transfers, or redistribution of goods between hospitals when required.

Work closely with Business Manager to analyse inventory levels, consumption trends, and stock requirements to optimize inventory management.

Utilize Excel and relevant digital/AI tools to analyse inventory data and improve reporting efficiency.

Respond promptly to urgent operational requirements and provide support outside normal working hours when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.


• Good computer literacy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other digital/AI tools.


• Relevant experience or internship exposure in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, procurement, operations, or related fields is an added advantage.


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Customer-oriented, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.


• Willing to travel regularly to hospital sites within the assigned territory.


• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, when required to support urgent customer or operational requirements.
