Mahajaya Group is seeking an proactive Assistant Project Manager to support planning, execution and delivery of property development and refurbishment projects in Malaysia. The role involves coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.

You will manage projects through planning, design, construction, handover and DLP, working with consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure smooth execution and compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in property development, construction or project management.
• Hands-on experience managing projects from planning, design and construction through completion.
• Experience in refurbishment, upgrading or redevelopment projects is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, coordination and implementation of property development and refurbishment projects.
• Manage assigned projects from planning and design through construction, handover and DLP.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors and authorities for smooth execution.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality standards and construction progress.
• Review and coordinate project drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Participate in tendering, consultant appointments and contract administration activities.
• Prepare project reports and progress updates for management review.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to minimise delays and costs.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination meetings as required.
