Job summary

Lotus's Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive property development and asset management initiatives. You will identify sites, assess feasibility, conduct financial analyses, and lead lease management with internal stakeholders and external partners.

You will manage negotiations, review tenancy documents, monitor rental obligations, and prepare management papers for the board, ensuring timely, compliant project delivery within policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Property, Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience in property development, acquisition, asset management, leasing or retail property.
• Experience in site assessment, financial feasibility, commercial negotiation and lease management preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; GIS/mapping experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites through market research and site visits.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and advise on site suitability.
• Maintain and monitor the property development pipeline.
• Prepare financial models and projections with Finance.
• Analyze rental, sales potential and other commercial assumptions.
• Support negotiations and review tenancy agreements.
• Manage lease renewals and related obligations.
• Prepare management papers and coordinate with Finance, Legal and Operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and in compliance with policies.
