Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a General Manager – Property Development to lead a landmark master-planned development in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee the full lifecycle—from master planning and design development to regulatory approvals, construction execution, and handovers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in property development.
At least 5 years in an executive or Assistant General Manager-level role overseeing large-scale, multi-phase master-planned developments.

Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight: Drive end-to-end development strategy, financial modeling, budget optimization, and profitability targets for active and upcoming mixed-use phases.
Project Delivery: Direct multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure construction execution meets international standards for safety, quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain partnerships with government authorities, joint venture partners, consultancies, and main contractors.
Commercial Alignment: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Asset Management teams to design market-responsive products and launch strategies.
Risk & Operations: Identify operational and regulatory risks, establish mitigation protocols, and uphold governance across local legal frameworks.
