Job summary

Hikvision Malaysia is seeking a technical support specialist to manage all technical aspects during distribution or project delivery, provide demos, service and upgrades, and contribute to support guides. The role includes training customers and users, managing projects, and handling other technical issues as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or higher in CS/EC/Telecom/IS, fluent English, at least 2 years in technical support for security products, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or information systems.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 2 years' experience in technical support with familiarity in security products.
• Solid knowledge in CS/electronics/telecommunications/information systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customer service focus.
• Experience in video surveillance or IT industry preferred.
• Willing to travel to client sites as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor or above degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or information systems is preferred. Fluent in English.
• 2. At least 2 years' experience in technical support, familiar with security products, expertise in major project delivery management.
• 3. Solid knowledge and technical skills in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or information systems;
• 4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills; customer service skills and awareness.; work well under pressure.
• 5. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage, particularly for roles involving communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders.
• 6. Experience in video surveillance or IT industry is preferred.
• 7. Willing to travel outstation.
