Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Project Team Lead (Pest Control) to supervise Project Specialists, plan service schedules, and drive capability development across Operations. Based at our Shah Alam offices, you will lead a team of around 10, ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards of service.

You will receive product training and guidance from Service and Operations teams, with a competitive base salary, contractual bonus, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related discipline with proven track record in managing staff.
• Experience in operations and service industries is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel to client locations and hold a valid Goods Delivery License (GDL) and driving license.

Responsibilities

Project Team Lead (Pest Control)

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Project Team Lead (Pest Control) to join our team based out of our offices in various locations. Your responsibilities will be to plan, support, manage the projects and develop capabilities of our people. To help to achieve this, we will provide you with a competitive base salary, contractual bonus and career opportunities. You will also be given full product training, with hands on assistance from Service and Operation Team.

Purposes

To supervise Project Specialists in providing support to Operations in order to achieve KPI, improvement and growth through the effective implementation of process and policies improvement which cover Operations and Service function. The job will be focusing on supporting project deployment and developing capability of our people. These cover the aspects of monitoring the service operations effectiveness through proper management of stakeholders and assets in a manner consistent with the local country business plan.

In This Role You Will Be Responsible For

Service Process

• Plan and check service schedules to ensure manpower/ resources are optimized to cater for jobs involving fumigation, proofings, services required by branches etc.
• Assisting in gathering information / feedback to generate solution/capability initiatives.
• Make sure team members provide quality and timely services as per schedule.
• To assist in survey and determine feasibility of the project.
• To work on improvement and development on current policies and processes related to Service and Operations.
• To maintain accurate records of fixed asset registered.
• To execute special project assignments, inventory usage control and complete task according to assignment given under Project Specialist accountability i.e., fumigation, pest proofing, bird control and other Operations related matters.

Capability Building & Training

• Support the development, updating, and delivery of training materials related to service and operations.
• Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and coaching activities for Project Specialist, Service Technicians and Supervisors.
• Collect feedback and monitor training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

Fumigation Support

• To support in ensuring policies and procedures set by the company and local regulations are practiced and reflect 100% compliance.
• To support in ensuring company service practices are met and identify any opportunities to improve service standards.
• To support in branch and field audit on the compliance of fumigations performance SOP to ensure executions will be carried out as per subject.

Project & Initiative Support

• Assist in managing projects and programs assigned for service and operations capability development.
• Gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and support solution development for operational improvements.

Health & Safety

• To ensure that all preparations including chemicals are handled, stored and applied with due regard to the safety standards laid down within the Company, and that staff are never exposed to untoward risks in the course of their work.
• To ensure that all fixed assets are service worthy & safe through a monthly inspection.
• To constantly project, by personal example, Good & Safe Working Practices across all functions.

Requirements

• Minimum a Diploma in related discipline of studies with proven track record in managing staffs.
• Experience in Operations and service industries will be an added advantage.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication and people skills.
• Mature and able to manage a team of 10 members.
• Positive, result oriented, has good drive and initiative.
• Computer skill is essential.
• Willing to travel to client places.
• Must have or to take Goods Delivery License (GDL) if shortlisted.
• Required valid driving license because driving is part of the job requirement for this designation.
