As a Project Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain and procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage through project execution. Working closely with project teams, suppliers, engineering, and commercial stakeholders, you will ensure successful project delivery by balancing cost, quality, and schedule objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced supply chain professional with strong project-based procurement experience within electrical infrastructure, EPC, power, energy, or data center environments.
Participate in tender and capture teams to identify sourcing opportunities and ensure customer requirements are reflected in supply chain strategies. Develop and implement Tender Sourcing Plans (TSP) during bid phase and transition them into Project Procurement Plans (PPP) upon project award. Manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities throughout project execution. Develop project sourcing schedules, budgets, forecasts, and procurement plans aligned with project objectives. Collaborate with engineering, project management, commercial teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with company policies and customer requirements. Lead supplier negotiations and placement of purchase orders, ensuring alignment on pricing, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and contractual terms. Monitor supplier performance, delivery progress, and supply chain risks, proactively implementing mitigation actions where required. Drive cost optimization, savings initiatives, and supplier performance improvements throughout project execution. Track and report key project supply chain metrics, including savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, and risk mitigation activities. Ensure compliance with applicable internal procedures, external regulations, contract requirements, and Hitachi Energy policies. Act as the primary supply chain interface between project teams and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience within project procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, or project execution environments. Experience managing supply chain activities across the full project lifecycle, including tendering, procurement, project execution, and project delivery. Strong understanding of project-based businesses such as electrical infrastructure, EPC, power transmission and distribution, energy, renewables, or industrial projects. Experience sourcing engineered equipment, electrical products, systems, or project-related services. Demonstrated commercial acumen, supplier management, and contract negotiation capabilities. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across project, engineering, commercial, and supplier organizations. Experience managing key supply chain performance metrics and delivering projects against cost, quality, and schedule targets. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Experience supporting data center, mission‑critical infrastructure, or large‑scale industrial projects will be considered an advantage. Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and able to work independently in a dynamic project environment.
