Job summary

Hitachi Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Supply Chain Manager for Electrical Infrastructure & Data Centers. The role oversees project execution from planning to handover, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery with cost control.

Assignment includes a minimum 2-year site tenure in Gelang Patah, Johor. The ideal candidate holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in project management, experience with turnkey/service contracts, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in similar industry.
• Experience managing projects under turnkey and service-based contracts; reporting tools include SAP, MS Office, Power BI.
• Primavera P6 is an advantage; Project Management certification desirable.
• Flexibility, teamwork, results orientation, proactivity, and strong organizational skills; OSHA knowledge is desirable.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project execution team and oversee planning, monitoring, financials, and resources to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
• Manage project risks and opportunities, contract closure, resource procurement, negotiation support, and stakeholder relationships; act as main customer contact and escalation point.
• Define guidelines, assign tasks, monitor performance, and coordinate planning documents (scope, schedule, financial, risk plans).
• Ensure alignment with best practices, monitor progress, financials, resources; capture lessons learned; drive formal project acceptance and close-out with customer acknowledgment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.
