Job summary

CUBEBEE DESIGN SDN. BHD. is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily renovation, construction and fit-out works on site in Kuala Lumpur.

You will ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and safety procedures. You will coordinate multiple trades, monitor progress, manage subcontractors, maintain quality and prepare daily site reports for the Project Manager. The role requires 3–5 years in commercial renovation, a strong eye for detail, and ability to read drawings and coordinate

Supervise daily renovation, construction and fit-out works on site.

Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

Monitor workmanship and ensure construction standards are maintained.

Check site dimensions and setting-out before work commences.

Coordinate different trades to avoid clashes and delays.

2. Manpower & Subcontractor Management

Manage and allocate workers according to daily work requirements.

Supervise subcontractors and monitor their performance.

Ensure workers follow site rules, PPE requirements and safety procedures.

Brief workers on work scope and site requirements.

Monitor attendance and manpower productivity.

3. Project Progress

Monitor daily progress against the project programme.

Identify delays, site constraints and potential problems early.

Report progress and issues to the Project Manager.

Coordinate with subcontractors to recover delayed works.

Ensure works are completed according to agreed deadlines.

4. Quality Control

Inspect completed and ongoing works for quality and workmanship.

Ensure materials installed are approved and comply with specifications.

Conduct site inspections before work is covered up.

Prepare and follow up on inspection checklists, testing and commissioning.

Identify defects and coordinate rectification works.

5. Drawings & Technical Coordination

Read and understand architectural, ID, M&E and construction drawings.

Coordinate works based on the latest approved drawings.

Highlight discrepancies or site conditions that differ from drawings.

Coordinate with designers, consultants, engineers and contractors.

Ensure no unauthorised changes are carried out on site.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure workers comply with site safety requirements.

Conduct daily toolbox briefings where required.

Monitor proper use of PPE.

Identify unsafe conditions and immediately take corrective action.

Maintain good housekeeping and proper storage of materials.

Report accidents, incidents and unsafe practices.

Check delivery of materials against approved specifications.

Inspect materials for damage, quantity and quality.

Monitor material usage and minimise wastage.

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.

Inform the Project Manager of material shortages or urgent requirements.

Attend site meetings and coordination meetings when required.

Coordinate daily site matters with client representatives and consultants.

Clarify site issues before proceeding with affected works.

Assist during inspections and site walkthroughs.

Follow up on consultant/client comments and rectification.

9. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily site reports.

Record manpower, work progress, materials delivered and site activities.

Take site photographs for progress and records.

Maintain inspection records and checklists.

Report defects, delays, variations and site issues.

10. Handover & Completion

Monitor outstanding and defective works.

Prepare and follow up on the defects list.

Coordinate rectification works with subcontractors.

Assist with testing and commissioning.

Ensure the site is cleaned and ready for handover.

Assist in preparation of handover documents and completion records.

Requirement

3-5 year working experience in commercial renovation industry.
