Job summary

Poh Seng Kitchen Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan, Seremban, is seeking a diligent site supervisor to oversee ongoing renovation projects. You will visit sites, monitor work, and ensure adherence to drawings and schedules.

You will coordinate subcontractors across electrical, plaster, painting, flooring, tiling and plumbing, plan work sequences, check measurements, and maintain quality. Regular photos and progress updates to management are required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating renovation projects and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Visit and monitor ongoing renovation sites.
• Coordinate and arrange subcontractors/workers for electrical, plaster ceiling, painting, flooring, tiling, plumbing and other works.
• Plan the sequence of site works and ensure each contractor comes at the correct stage.
• Check site conditions and measurements before work starts.
• Ensure contractors follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Check workmanship and quality of completed works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure the work follows the required timeline.
• Take site photos/videos and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Identify site problems early and coordinate solutions with the designer and Operations Director.
• Check electrical points, plumbing points, ceiling dimensions and other site preparation before cabinet installation.
• Coordinate with the factory regarding cabinet delivery and installation readiness.
• Ensure the site is ready before installers or other contractors arrive.
• Check materials delivered to site for quantity, condition and correctness.
• Arrange rectification works when defects or mistakes are found.
• Keep the site organised and ensure contractors clean up after their work.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Prepare a final defect/checklist and follow up until outstanding works are completed.
• Report any delays, additional works or unexpected site conditions to management before proceeding.
