Job summary

Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Malaysia, seeks a skilled Project Scheduler to develop master schedules using Primavera P6, build WBS, and plan resources. You will coordinate with internal teams and clients, track progress, and produce weekly and monthly reports.

Responsibilities include CPM and cost analyses, documentation, and ensuring schedules align with progress; travel/relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, professional degree, engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related project planning experience.
• Experience in planning engineering projects—building, process plant, construction.
• Extensive knowledge in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel/relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project master schedule per proposal requirements in Primavera P6.
• Create WBS, project deliverables, tasks, and milestones.
• Manage resource planning, cost allocations, and activity sequencing.
• Coordinate internal reviews and client approvals on schedules and progress.
• Implement schedules and produce tracking reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Carry out delay tracking and assess extensions of time.
• Develop mitigation and recovery schedules.
• Perform CPM, resource, and cost analyses.
• Update schedules to reflect progress and delays.
• Send weekly and monthly progress reports and attend client meetings.
• Verify progress percentage in schedule against actual conditions.
• Develop project control documents (histograms, reports, material controls).
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of progress records.
• Liaise with other departments to complete deliverables.
• Perform additional duties as directed.
