Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a proactive Project Sales professional to build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, and system integrators in Malaysia. You will collaborate with specifications, logistics, and finance teams to support tender processes, pricing, and on-site project management.

You will also drive market development, provide quotes, and ensure timely delivery and installation of products while delivering excellent customer service and insights to improve sales

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project sales or related industries.
• Customer service orientated outlook and accountability.
• Excellent understanding of project sales, commercial and residential project management, construction, and real estate markets.
• Solid and traceable network of industry experts and partners including Developers, Main Contractors, Building Material Trading Houses, Doors Partners, and System Integrators.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken English; own transport with driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, develop and maintain or build positive relationships with industry partners including Developers, Main Contractors, Building Material Trading Houses, Doors Partners, and System Integrators.
• Maintaining relationships with key accounts by making regular visits, following leads, tracking market development and anticipating opportunities to grow ASSA ABLOY market share.
• Providing detailed specification/schedule consultancy in collaboration with the specifications team, adhering to building codes and product requirements.
• Provide customer product quotations for tenders and assist in tender interviews and price negotiations.
• Project management on site – inspections, meetings, training of contractors, ensuring proper installation of ASSA ABLOY products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to update bills of quantities and assist in scheduling and installation of samples/mocks.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries per schedule.
• Assist finance in follow-up of payments with proper documentation for progress claims.
• Liaise between customers and sales/logistics/finance to maximize service levels.
• Analyse trends, data, pricing strategies and other information to improve marketing and sales performance.
• Provide fast, reliable, and experienced customer service and user experience.
