Job summary

Legrand Malaysia is seeking a dynamic sales professional to promote Wiring Devices, Residential Systems, Building Systems and PVC conduits to retailers, contractors and investors across Klang Valley and Peninsular Malaysia.

You will develop deep product knowledge, conduct cold-calls and visits, and deliver compelling presentations while providing proactive pre- and post-sales support to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong customer service focus and target driven.
• Able to provide pre- and post-sales support including technical assistance.
• Excellent communication in English, Malay and Chinese dialects.
• Must have own transport and be able to travel around Klang Valley and peninsular Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Acquire deep product knowledge on Legrand’s products.
• Understand customer profiles and buying needs, expanding support and business with pre- and post-sales services, including technical support.
• Prospect new customers and developers, conduct cold-calls and sales visits pipelines.
• Promote product lines through solid sales presentations and marketing events.
• Prepare concept proposals, specifications, quotations and generate sales turnover according to targets.
• Be a trusted partner to customers by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support.
• Develop understanding of all products and provide training when required.
• Carry out product presentations to prospective accounts.
• Handle pricing inquiries, follow-up orders and delivery schedules.
• Provide sales reports to Head of Sales.

The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales target by promoting our Wiring Devices (PL2), Residential Systems (PL3), Building Systems (PL4) and PVC Conduits and Equipment (PL9) product lines to the Retailers, Contractors, Investors.

Role Responsibilities

• Acquire deep product knowledge on all Legrand’s products
• Understand the profile and buying needs of Customers (C) and expand Legrand’s support and businesses, by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support
• Prospect new customers and developers, conducting cold-calls and sales visits pipelines
• Promote product lines through solid sales presentation, and together with Marketing through events and networking sessions
• Responsible for preparing concept proposals, specifications, quotations and generating sales turnover according to targets
• Be a trusted partner and support to Customers (Retailers, Contractors, Investors) by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support
• Develop a clear understanding of all products and provide training (internal and external) when required
• Carry out product presentations to prospective accounts
• Responsible for pricing enquiries, follow-up orders and delivery schedules
• Provide sales report to Head of Sales

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales (especially in construction line)
