Job summary

Legrand Group Brands is seeking a proactive PROJECT SALE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE in Selangor. You will promote Legrand’s Wiring Devices, Residential Systems, Building Systems and PVC conduits to retailers, contractors and investors, driving sales and building strong customer relationships.

You will acquire in-depth product knowledge, conduct sales visits across Klang Valley and East Malaysia, and deliver compelling presentations with the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales (construction line)
• Strong customer focus and service orientation
• Ability to travel within Klang Valley and East Malaysia
• Fluent in Mandarin and English preferred for interactions with Mandarin-speaking customers

Responsibilities

• Acquire deep product knowledge of Legrand product lines
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
• Prospect new customers and developers through cold-calls and visits
• Deliver product presentations and coordinate with Marketing for events
• Prepare concepts, quotations and sales turnover aligned to targets
• Serve as trusted partner with customers and provide training when required
• Conduct product training for internal and external audiences
• Present product proposals to prospective accounts
• Handle pricing inquiries, follow-ups and delivery schedules
• Provide sales reports to Head of Sales

PROJECT SALE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Responsible for achieving sales target by promoting our Wiring Devices (PL2), Residential Systems (PL3), Building Systems (PL4) and PVC Conduits and Equipment (PL9) product lines to the Retailers, Contractors, Investors.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire deep product knowledge on all Legrand's products


• Understand the profile and buying needs of Customers and expand Legrand's support and businesses, by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support


• Prospect new customers and developers, conducting cold-calls and sales visits pipelines


• Promote product lines through solid sales presentation, and together with Marketing through events and networking sessions


• Responsible for preparing concept proposals, specifications, quotations and generating sales turnover according to targets


• Be a trusted partner and support to Customers (Retailers, Contractors, Investors) by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support


• Develop a clear understanding of all products and provide training (internal and external) when required


• Carry out product presentations to prospective accounts


• Responsible for pricing enquiries, follow-up orders and delivery schedules


• Provide sales report to Head of Sales

About you

• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales (especially in construction line)


• Strong customer focus, an advocate of excellent customer service


• Sales-driven, to meet business targets and goals


• Ability to provide an appropriate support for sales and satisfy customers' expectations


• Possess own transport


• Preferably those who can travel within Klang Valley and East Malaysia


• Candidates that are fluent in both Mandarin and English are preferred because the work needs candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking customers
