Job summary

Primelay Flooring is seeking a proactive project sales professional in Malaysia to drive sourcing, quotations, and tender submissions for flooring and building materials. You will visit sites, read plans, and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful installations.

The role involves building relationships with contractors and consultants, managing long sales cycles, and closing sizable project deals with commission incentives. Local travel and own transport are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in project sales, preferably in flooring, building materials, or construction-related industry.
• Comfortable reading building plans and BQ and doing site visits.
• Diploma/Degree preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
• Able to travel to project sites and engage with contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage project leads (contractors, D&B firms, architects, ID firms).
• Prepare quotations, BQ submissions, and product specifications for tenders.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams for measurement and installation planning.
• Build relationships with consultants to get Primelay specified into projects.
• Follow up projects from quotation through to closing and handover.
• Manage the full project sales cycle: sourcing leads, preparing quotations, visiting sites, and following through until the deal closes and installation is handed over.
