Job summary

Goplas Industries Sdn Bhd in Skudai, Johor is seeking an experienced Project / Process Engineer to develop and establish the process from New Product Introduction through to final production and customer delivery.

You will review 3D models and specifications, coordinate mould development and trials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues while optimizing production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in plastic moulding industries.
• Proficient in CAD software such as UG, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Hands-on production or maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare clear and well-structured documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction from customer through to production and delivery.
• Review 3D models, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate mould development, DFM proposals, mould trials and sample submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance quality.
• Create and maintain BOM, FMEA, WI, Process Flow, 3D files and ECN changes.
• Provide technical support to production-related issues.

Job description

Goplas Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project / Process Engineer to join our team in Skudai, Johor. This full-time position will be responsible to develop and establish the process from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to final production and customer delivery.

What you'll be doing

Manage new product introduction from customer.

Review 3D modelling, product drawings and specifications.

Coordinate mould development, DFM proposal, mould trials and sample submission.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve technical issues.

Optimize production process to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance quality.

Create and maintain documentation of BOM / FMEA / WI / Process Flow / 3D files and ECN change.

Provide technical support to production related issues.

What we're looking for

Minimum 4years' working experience inplastic moulding industries.

Conversant in CAD software like UG, Solid Works, AutoCAD or equivalent.

Hands on experience in production or maintenance department is an advantage

Ability to prepare clear and well-structured documents.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
