Job summary

VIZIONE HOLDINGS BERHAD is seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer to develop, maintain, and monitor construction project schedules for high-rise builds. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors to keep milestones on track and manage critical paths.

The role requires strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel, plus experience in S-curves, manpower planning, cash flow forecasting, and EOT processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning for high-rise building construction with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, critical path, and construction sequencing.

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction project schedules and work programmes.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Track progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-Curves and look-ahead schedules.
• Assist in resource planning, sequencing, and construction planning.
• Support tender planning, EOT submissions, and delay analysis where required.
• Maintain accurate planning records and ensure schedule updates are communicated to stakeholders.
• Ensure planning activities comply with project requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Continuously improve planning processes; willing to travel to project sites as needed.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Track project progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend recovery plans.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-Curves, look-ahead schedules, and productivity analysis.

Assist in resource planning, project sequencing, and construction planning.

Support tender planning, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and delay analysis where required.

Maintain accurate project planning records and ensure schedule updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure planning activities comply with project requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.

Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance project efficiency.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project planning for high-rise building construction with a main contractor.

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, project scheduling, and critical path methodology.

Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Experience in preparing S-Curves, manpower planning, cash flow forecasts, productivity reports, and progress monitoring.

Familiar with construction contracts, project reporting, and Extension of Time (EOT) processes.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Willing to travel or be based at project sites when required.
