Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget execution while maintaining strong governance and documentation.

The role requires organised, commercially aware individuals who can liaise effectively with technical teams and clients, handling budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations across the full project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Proven working experience in project management.
• Experience using project management software and tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control and performance management.
• Strong risk management and negotiation skills.
• PMP and/or ITIL certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources, third-party vendors and clients for successful execution of multiple projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Work closely with the Technical Lead throughout project execution.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules and costs using PM techniques.
• Develop comprehensive project plans for internal teams and clients.
• Track and measure project performance using PM tools and techniques.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks to minimise issues.
• Report project progress and escalated issues to management when required.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders; gather requirements and clarify needs.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, clients and stakeholders.

About the Client

Our client is a Malaysian technology solutions company providing technology-driven solutions and services to businesses. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines, scope and budget.

Role Summary

The Project Manager will work closely with the Technical Lead and coordinate internal teams, clients, third-party vendors and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of multiple projects.

The role covers the full project lifecycle, including project planning, resource coordination, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder management, performance tracking and project documentation.

The successful candidate should be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with both technical teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Coordinate internal resources, third-party vendors and clients for the successful execution of multiple projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Work closely with the Technical Lead throughout project execution.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track project progress.
• Ensure appropriate resource availability and allocation.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules and costs using appropriate project management techniques
• Develop comprehensive project plans for internal teams and clients.

Performance, Budget & Risk Management

• Track and measure project performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term project goals.
• Manage project budgets and ensure budgetary objectives are achieved.
• Make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks to minimise potential issues.
• Report project progress and escalated issues to management when required.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings with clients to gather detailed requirements and clarify specific project needs.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with third-party vendors.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, clients and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate and resolve project-related issues where required.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document project and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain strong project governance and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent working experience.
• Proven working experience in project management.
• Experience using project management software and tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

Remuneration

RM7,000 – RM10,000 per month

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
