Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven project manager to oversee manufacturing projects from sales handover through testing, installation and customer acceptance.

The role requires strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, experience in semiconductor/manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project to coordinate schedules, mitigate risks and drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/semiconductor industries preferred.
• Proficient with quality tools (QFD, Q-Mapping, FMEA, DOE, SPC) and statistical analysis.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from sales handover, planning and execution through testing, installation, customer acceptance and closure.
• Review project risks and develop mitigation plans covering technical, commercial, resource, material and schedule aspects.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, R&D, Production, Procurement, Quality, Planning, Field Service and Sales.
• Develop project schedules, track milestones and resolve critical issues to meet delivery targets.
• Coordinate IAT, FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning and customer buy-off activities.
• Manage customer escalations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper project documentation, lessons learned and closure.
