Job summary

EVERGRAND ELECTRONIC SCIENTIFIC TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. invites a seasoned Project Manager to lead gas and chemical delivery, bulk gas, and cleanroom M&E projects in semiconductor environments.

You will plan, mobilize, and supervise site activities to meet safety, cost, and schedule targets. Requirements include a bachelor's in mechanical or chemical engineering, minimum 5 years in engineering design or project management for semiconductor or industrial projects, familiarity with SEMI standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design or project management in semiconductor or industrial engineering projects.
• Familiar with SEMI standards, pressure vessel and piping requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese and English for project coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion.
• Prepare project manpower planning, material planning, and site preparation before project mobilization.
• Oversee construction site management, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Ensure proper execution of project scope in accordance with contract requirements.
• Manage projects involving High Purity Gas Systems, Bulk Gas Systems, Chemical Delivery Systems, Secondary Distribution Systems, and Cleanroom M&E Engineering.
• Ensure project design and construction comply with industry standards and engineering regulations (e.g. SEMI standards, pressure vessel and piping requirements).
• Review engineering drawings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Lead the preparation of construction schedules and project execution plans.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Organise and lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, and consultants

Project Manager (Gas & Chemical / Cleanroom / M&E Projects / Semiconductor)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage semiconductor-related engineering projects, particularly in high purity gas systems, bulk gas, chemical delivery systems, secondary distribution, and cleanroom M&E engineering. This role is responsible for overall project planning, site management, coordination with clients and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion

Prepare project manpower planning, material planning, and site preparation before project mobilization

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Engineering-related disciplines

Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design or project management in semiconductor or industrial engineering projects

Strong knowledge of high purity gas systems, bulk gas systems, chemical systems, and cleanroom engineering

Familiar with engineering standards and regulations such as SEMI standards, pressure vessel and piping requirements

Proficient in engineering design and drawing software (AutoCAD or similar)

Strong project management and coordination skills

Ability to speak and write in Chinese and English for project coordination and communication

Able to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision

Willing to travel for overseas projects when required
