Job summary

OUS Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager in the Construction Industry to lead the development and expansion of new mining sites in Malaysia. You will report to the Director and coordinate with Site Operations and Support Functions to ensure site setup activities are properly planned, budgeted, and executed.

The role requires end-to-end project oversight including financial feasibility, cost control, resources, timelines, cross-functional coordination, risk and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mining, civil, quantity surveying or project management.
• PMP/CCMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager that has experienced in Construction Industry to lead and coordinate the development and expansion of new mining sites in Malaysia.

This role reports directly to the Director and works closely with Site Operations and Support Functions, to ensure all activities required for new site setup are properly planned, budgeted, executed, and completed within timeline and approved investment parameters.

The Project Manager will act as the overall project owner — responsible for financial feasibility, cost control, resources, timeline management, inter-department coordination, and risk management and regulatory management — until full site commissioning and formal handover.

Experienced in end-to-end construction related projects, strong financial acumen, commercial judgment, people management and collaboration, and cost discipline are critical for this role.

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mining, Civil, Quantity Surveyor or Project Management.
• PMP / CCMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years in construction, mining, heavy industry, plant setup, or industrial project development.
• Experience conducting financial feasibility or cost analysis for industrial projects and construction project
• Ability to identify and attract the relevant subject matter experts that involved in the projects.
• Strong cross-functional coordination background.
• Strong financial modelling and costing skills.
• Strong commercial and economic judgment.
